The Walking Dead S3E6 "Hounded" Review

While Walking Dead isn't one of the best shows on TV it is still a very entertaining one (Apart from 80% of the farm scenes last season) and this episode reassures just that.

I'll start with the most boring storyline of the episode, Which was Andrea's, What started as a great scene between her and Liam Neeson "ugh" i mean The Governor turned into a silly excuse for her to kill a walker just outside the walls.
Although the "Master" of the bow trying to head shot the walker was entertaining as it showed just how much of a cocky bitch she was. We probably won't see any more of that character in later episodes but she will probably get a dramatic death scene in which we then hear about how much of a great person she was, after knowing absolutely nothing about her. Just like T-Dog.
But after that incident Andrea bangs The Governor, even though she strongly disagrees about his gladiator game. I really don't know what is wrong with her character especially when she said was a great shot, Does she not remember nearly killing Darryl in season 2 because of her stupidity with a gun?!

The other story was Rick going insane, thinking he was having phones calls from another group of survivors, which turn out to be members of his group that died. I know he is having trouble dealing with the fact his wife had died 2 episodes ago but Jesus, does he even remember he has a son? After his son had shot his mothers
dead corpse in the head, Rick needs to talk to his son about what happened, not just pat him on the head and go back to being crazy!

The last and best storyline had to go to Merle and Michonne's predator inspired jungle game of cat and mouse, which was tense, violent and well filmed. which leads to a confrontation that may lead to tragedy in the next 2 episodes.
Another great scene with this was Merle murdering one his men because he is scared of failing The Governor, while we've seen him murder a group of soldiers for no reason, it would be interesting to see what he would do if he found out Merle killed on of their own men.

Overall: A solid episode with some dull moments but great action.
7/10
